A Martin Luther King poster contest will be held for youth in 1st-12th grades. The theme is "Youth leading the dream in the future". Please submit posters by Sunday, January 13, for judging and to be displayed at the youth service at Cornerstone Church on Friday, January 18. To arrange pick up or for information call 912-470-8472 or drop off at Gospel Tabernacle Sunday, January 6 and 13 from 1-2 pm. All community youth are encouraged to participate.

The Clinch County High School Band Boosters are again selling Gold Discount Cards. The cards cost $10 and 12 local businesses are participating by offering discounts to card holders. The cards may be used through December 31, 2013. Cards are available at Rainwater Insurance Agency or any Band Booster member.

The Clinch County Senior Citizens Center is collecting used printer cartridges to recycle as a fundraiser. Proceeds will go towards funding activities at the Senior Center. For more information contact Angela Jones at 912-487-2893.

The Clinch County Senior Citizens Center has a limited number of openings. Any senior that is interested in participating int he centers program are asked to contact Angela Jones at 912-487-2893. Transportation is available.

The Clinch County Lions Club is recycling cell phones, and have boxes around town where cell phones can be dropped off to recycle. Drop-off boxes are located at Farmers & Merchants Bank, Heritage Bank, Huey's One Stop, Georgia Power, and Lee Container. Funds from the recycling project will go to Lions Club charities.
